Hi There
I’m quite new to plasmic Studio and have some struggles to swap the BasePageLayout to a new one or a variant of the current. It seems that the “Base” can not be changed with a variant that has no horizontal padding applied.
I checked all the page settings, but found nothing to swap this, I see that “Base” is applied for this page, as for all pages, but haven’t found a solution to change it.

Thank you Alyssa for taking the time. Page Settings are a little different here - navbar and footer are in a component that is predefined for every new page. Every new page or Variant of it I create sits in the “BasePageLayout Slot”.
Do you have that set as the Default Layout?
Yes, I watched this tutorial as well and it seems that there is a difference in the structure - in the HTML structure of my page there is no BasePageLayout Component - it seems that it is not set (and therefore can not be swapped nor changed) in the page structure

Great, thank you – learning alot right now. I found a workaround for now, without swapping the BasePageLayout Component. I will ask the developer about this issue - it doesn’t seem to be the normal approach to not integrate the BasePageLayout into the HTML Page Structure. Happy New Year and thanks again!
