Extra newline in production render but not in design mode

Extra newline in render (img2), but not in designer (img1)
• Looks like it is caused by the newline emitted by plasmic during render between the first div and span (img3)
• If I remove this newline, it looks correct (img4)

• Note: I have seen this extra newline cause problems in other areas as well. Reported an issue earlier where if you have a span as the first content in a
