How do I cache fetches from Plasmic?

Hey everyone, I’m working on a static site built with Plasmic + Next and wondering if there is there a way to get next build to cache data from Plasmic? I currently see dozens of log messages “Plasmic: doing a fresh fetch…”

Based on this loader-nextjs code I thought that setting NODE_ENV=development would make it so the cache option was set, but it still seems to be undefined

Do you have preview=false in your loader config?

ahh, no I had it set to true – that seems to speed things up, thanks @icaro! is NODE_ENV used to determine any other settings or is leaving it unset fine?

I think it’s good to have it set, and i think it’s set automatically in some places.
