Hey guys, I don’t know if it’s on your roadmap, but I think it would be super cool to have community templates to have more options to. start from. Even a marketplace, so designers could get paid and you could take a commission on sales
I was thinking about this earlier this week when I was browsing through 2,000+ Webflow HTML website templates | Webflow
Thank you for sharing these ideas. We don’t currently have this in the pipeline, but may consider looking into it in the future.
@support This feature would be a game changer and exactly the reason why tools like Bubble are so popular.
Do let us know once you plan to add this to the roadmap.
This.
My first reaction when lauching plasmic for the first time was “OK, looks great but very few components to start from”.
Then: “Awesome, we can create our own components !.. Where is the marketplace ?!”
I need to use charts, a lot of them. I’m currently working on porting echarts to plasmic components. But I’m pretty sure many have done the same thing before me and would have shared their work if they could.
This really is a must have “feature” for 2 reasons:
- Don’t waste developers time redoing what’s already been done by others willing to share (this is a low code tool remember ?)
- For end users, having a ton of components to chose from is game changer. I had to battle with my designer team to go with plasmic for this specific reason : “Yeah but you can’t do charts, or render Markdown ! X or Y other_nocode_tool does that out of the box”.
