How do you clean a messily built site, or is the only solution to rebuild?

For the life of us, we can’t seem to get our page speed down. When we look in the console, it looks like there is a ton of excess and unused js/css as a result of components were were ‘trying out’ when we joined plasmic. We did not read the docs well, and found later that it expressed to keep things non-customised and clean to preserve performance. Now, we have our site exactly how we want it, however the performance is so punished and the consequences of our rushed efforts are now clear as day.

Is there any way to clean a messy project, or is it doomed to be rebuilt?

Side note - If anyone wants to offer professional help this would be very much appreciated, and we’re happy to put a bounty on any help that can assist us get past this last issue (mostly site performance related, minority csp and cluggy react/next code), as our startup needs its new website online as soon as possible.

Hi @jvx4, sorry for the late reply. Plasmic’s generated code may not look the prettiest and may have some extraneous code, but these usually do not affect performance and can also be automatically removed with a bundler/minifier. Please let me know if I can help any further.
