Are there plans to include an MCP layer into Plasmic?

What are the potential use cases you think Plasmic MCP might solve?
It would also be great if you can send us some examples of commands/API’s that would specifically be beneficial for the end users!

@alex_noel here is an idea (not sure how feasible it is): accessing the props on Plasmic customizable components.

Here is the problem, registering code components e.g. a button and instead of using creating new props, we could leverage the existing customizable components to create even more complex components on Plasmic.

There is a Shadcn mcp that allows for this.

@aihe_team i believe this should be possible even without MCP :thinking:
But maybe i have misunderstood you a bit.
You mean that you want AI to generate new components/pages using the existing component created in Plasmic?
Or for AI to generate registerComponent clauses for existing code components to connect them to Plasmic?
