Not Rendered vs Not Visible

Hello Everyone! Imported design from figma to my studio, but responsiveness didn’t work at all, so I had to import the mobile design from figma too. The previous unresponsive mobile stacks are now hidden but I’m concerned if the hidden code would still be uploaded, causing slow site.
Please tell me whether toggling “not rendered” will be useful in not publishing the code on the site or not (possibly saving loading time)
Just getting started with plasmic so a beginner friendly question  response would be greatly appreciated!!

Hello @pratyush_joshi, welcome to the forum!

As you have already figured, the Figma importer is a good starting point and tries to import your Figma designs exactly, so you would need to put in more effort to make it responsive. We generally recommend using it as a speed boost as you are building your Plasmic page, rather than a one-click magic wand to convert an arbitrary Figma design into a properly responsive page. You can read more about it in our Figma importer docs.

As for the “not rendered” hack, that could increase your initial load time, because while the mobile-specific parts will not be rendered, they would still be included in the bundle.

noted! thank you for your response!!
