plasmic-basic-components creating new breakpoints

Hi Guys,
I have used plasmic-basic-components in my project and it created a separate set of breakpoints with the name plasmic-basic-components having only Desktop variant.

My question is

  1. What’s the rationale behind this approach?
  2. Does it mean that each third party library we integrate can come with its own set of screen variants?
  3. Does point 1 has any implications on existing project variants?
