Hi Team Plasmic!

We have self-hosted Plasmic. However we are having issues with setting up the app host. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

@aihe_team It is hard to tell, but @felipemds suggested that this might be some issue related to loading the frames.
We would need the configuration details of your setup to pinpoint the exact problem.
I would also suggest going over the readme doc again to make sure you followed all the setup steps correctly.

@alex_noel I have a hypothesis that it is the app host we need to update.

So for self-hosting, would you know how we can get the api_token? I’ve tried looking in the usual places where the api_token is found on the cloud but we can’t find the api token. We can find the project_id but not the api_token.

I’m grateful in advance!

@aihe_team Can you please check if your instance is up an running? I’m trying to access https://95.217.1.150:3003/ but it’s not loading for me at the moment? Is the self hosted instance publicly accessible?

@luis_barreto @aihe_team Based on the errors shown in the console, it’s failing to fetch the scripts because it’s accessing it through https secure connection where as your server configuration doesn’t support https at the moment. Please try enabling https by setting up SSL certificate. You can try Letsencrypt for that.

Thanks @muhammad_asim, makes sense. There is any guide to apply https on the plasmic server ? from my understand Letsencrypt provides certificates, that is correct ?

@aihe_team Could you share why do you want to execute local-unpublish command?

In the mentioned case, the error thrown ECONNREFUSED means it cannot reach the host http://localhost:4873, which means there is no local npm registry running on the server.
