Having an SEO issue… unpublished a Plasmic site (created a new portfolio I’ve deployed on Netlify), but it’s still ranking at the top for keywords. It only gives a generic Plasmic 404 error. I already reported to Google it should be de-indexed, but who knows how long that takes, and in the meantime, it’s outranking my actual portfolio site… Someone suggested using a 301, but as the site is unpublished, I have no idea how I can do much of anything. Suggestions?
You should be able to publish a mostly empty site to netlify on the same original domain that just uses their mechanisms for redirecting, to redirect to your new site
