Unstyled Components (headless) seems to be a good idea, but I’m just overriding default Chakra UI theme currently, with the aim to reduce token bloat.

Yes 3D tools have been using this for a while, like this Blender example or Maya. Also AE (Adobe After Effect) used nodes I think?
