Would be nice to toggle plasmic hosting on and off in plasmic studio. Instead of having to add/remove the url.

What do you mean Plasmic is faster without Plasmic hosting? As in, making edits is faster when you have removed the hosting URL?

also, plasmic hosting doesn’t work in Brave so that’s another reason
when hosting is on, it takes a while for the components to load
especially when my cpu (m1) is already at capacity
Yeah, when you’re using custom host, it needs to wait for your custom host to render the plasmic-host page (so your custom app needs to finish loading first). And if you’re going against localhost, you’re also likely using the development build of React, and so artboard rendering speed will also be limited by that
