New: Plasmic Customizable Components

Hello Everyone!

The beta test is officially over, and we’re ready to unveil an exciting update that’s been in the works for a while :tada:
You may know this as “Plexus” during its internal naming phase, but we’ve now officially renamed it to Plasmic Customizable Components.

Here’s what’s under the hood:
:sparkles: Dynamic Design Freedom – Take control of every aspect of your components, from visual styling to interaction behavior, and make them uniquely yours.
:hammer_and_wrench: Seamless Customization – Easily adapt components to match your brand and project needs without reinventing the wheel.
:globe_with_meridians: Reusability Simplified – Streamline your workflow by defining and reusing customizable elements across your projects.

As we step into a fresh year full of possibilities, we hope this update sparks creativity and empowers you to build even more extraordinary projects!

Guys, let the community work for you, people are creating hundreds of code components solving mostly the same issues while also registering other design libraries for their projects without being able to colectlebly share them. Plasmic would grow tremendously if we could share solutions and new ideas without having to run a server, simple copy paste. It would also cut community tickets down drastically, essentially turning plasmic into a supercharged Framer, all with a single feature.

Hi @arturo_rabago, thank you so much for sharing your thoughts!

Community marketplace is the next feature we’re actively working on, right now.

That said, we prioritized Plasmic Customizable Components first so users could create components and design systems without needing to dive deeply into code. This will make it easier for everyone to build and share in the long run. We truly appreciate your enthusiasm and great ideas—keep them coming!
